In attendance are Anne Ville, Gomer's estranged, alcoholic mother; Carl, Allison's devoted handyman uncle; Bertha Kidd, the best midwife in town; and Pastor Prime, Bobo, Alabama's premiere wedding officiant and blesser of the babies. Despite the usual familial chaos, things seem to be going off without a hitch.... until someone drops dead, and they are left with a lot of deadly consequences!
